WWW Wednesdays is a weekly meme hosted over at Should Be Reading…it just takes a few minutes: to play along, just answer the following three questions…
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
What are you currently reading?
I’m still reading Shadowland by C.M. Gray because I took a break over the weekend to read a couple of different books. I’m about halfway through though now and enjoying it still – lots of dark ages adventure and mystery set against a backdrop of Saxon invasions and the decline of the Roman Empire – the main characters are both interesting and well-written – reads a little like a book springboarded out of a film like King Arthur with Clive Owen.
What did you recently finish reading?
I read The Tower by Jade Varden, which is Book 2 in the tarot inspired Deck of Lies. Really good mystery-thriller contemporary YA and I enjoyed it as much as the first book Justice. You can read my review of it here https://melcj.wordpress.com/2012/04/09/just-finished-the-tower-by-jade-varden/ and if you like the sound of it there’s a giveaway running this week to win both books so you can enter off my review too.
What do you think you’ll read next?
I’m thinking Zed by Stephen Herfst – I’ve never read a zombie book, but I love zombie films (guilty pleasure) and so I’m looking forward to this 🙂
I love the idea of a book series based on tarot cards! Will have to go read your review and hunt it down on Goodreads.com 🙂

I was the same – I really liked the tarot connection – it sits in the background of the action of the books, but is a good theme. Try the giveaway that’s running from my review as you could win both 🙂
I don’t think I’ve heard of any of the books that you mention today. But they all sound interesting. Especially that Tarot Deck mystery series. Might have to check that one out. Thanks for sharing!
My WWW Wednesday is here.
A lot of what I’ve been reading recently is non-mainstream, so it’s nice you like the sound of it. The other blog I write on is doing a full Indie Author Month in May with new books and giveaways (including some of these mentioned) so you might want to take a look.
There’s a button on my blog for it.

The series based on a Tarot deck sounds very interesting. I’ll have to look into it.
I’ve really liked it – it’s lightly themed around tarot rather than it featuring heavily within the books (don’t want to miss sell them 🙂 lol
There’s a giveaway this week mentioned in my review to win copies of the first two ebooks, so if you like the sound of the books, take a look at entering
What format are the ebooks?
